About Forward City
Forward City is a worship music collective that serves as the musical ministry of Forward City Church in Columbia, South Carolina. The church and its music expression are led by senior pastors Travis Greene and Dr. Jackie Greene, with the collective releasing contemporary gospel and worship music built around congregational singing and live worship events.
Forward City Music first released the album TENT REVIVAL in 2022, which included the song “HOLY ONLY.” The following year, the collective issued two singles: “I Remember” and “Put Your Name On Me.” In 2026, Forward City released the album Here Comes the Wind, featuring the songs “Strongest Place,” “Breathe,” and “Fresh Wind.”
The collective frequently collaborates with Travis Greene on recordings and live worship events, blending his established gospel style with the church’s worship identity. Forward City continues to produce studio and live worship music as the musical arm of Forward City Church.
