Lyrics
There's a great light shining yonder
From that city in the air
Soon the darkness will be over
And the saints will gather there
It's a great day in the morning
In that city bright and fair
It's a great day to be ready
Plan to meet me over there
It's a great time for God's children
For their race is nearly run
What rejoicing, hallelujah
Battles over, battles won
There's a mother now awaiting
There's a father waiting too
For their children who will gather
What rejoicing they will do
Oh, it's a great day in the morning
In that city bright and fair
It's a great day to be ready
Plan to meet me over there
Oh, it's a great day in the morning
In that city bright and fair
It's a great day to be ready
Plan to meet me over there
Plan to meet me over there
It's a great day in the morning
In that city bright and fair
It's a great day to be ready
Plan to meet me, plan to meet me
Plan to meet me over there
Over there
