Lyrics
[Verse 1]
I've climbed mountains, I've crossed valleys
Wondered why the answers came so slow
There were nights I prayed in silence
Only heaven seemed to know
Still I heard a gentle whisper, deep within my weary soul
"Trust the One who holds tomorrow, He is always in control"
[Chorus]
In His perfect time, He never comes too late
Every promise blooms according to His grace
Though I cannot see tomorrow's road ahead
I will trust the words my Savior said
When my faith is weak, and my strength is gone
His faithful hand keeps leading me on
I'll keep believing, I'll keep holding on
For God is always right... in His perfect time
[Verse 2]
Like the farmer waits for harvest, trusting every seed that's sown
God is working in the silence, even when His plans are unknown
Every tear He counts with mercy, every prayer He hears above
What seems delayed to us below, is wrapped in perfect love
[Chorus]
In His perfect time, He never comes too late
Every promise blooms according to His grace
Though I cannot see tomorrow's road ahead
I will trust the words my Savior said
When my faith is weak, and my strength is gone
His faithful hand keeps leading me on
I'll keep believing, I'll keep holding on
For God is always right... in His perfect time
[Bridge]
Abraham kept trusting
Noah built in faith
Joseph saw the promise, though he had to wait
If God was faithful then, He'll be faithful still
His timing is perfect, His purpose always will
[Chorus]
In His perfect time, the dawn will surely break
Every waiting heart will see the path He makes
I'll praise Him in the valley, I'll praise Him on the climb
For every season has a reason, in His perfect time
When my journey here is finally through
I'll see how every promise came true
Until that day, this heart will sing
"My life is safely held by the King"
I'll wait... with hope
I'll wait... with faith
For my God is never early
And He's never late
He's always on time
