Lyrics
[Verse 1]
The sky grew dark
The earth it shook
The veil was torn in two
The Son of God gave up His life
To make all things brand new
[Chorus]
It is finished
The debt has been paid
Mercy has spoken
The stone rolled away
Sin is defeated
Death lost its sting
It is finished
Jesus is King
[Verse 2]
The blood was shed
The work complete
Grace poured out for all
From Calvary's hill, redemption came
And answered Mercy's call
[Chorus]
It is finished
The debt has been paid
Mercy has spoken
The stone rolled away
Sin is defeated
Death lost its sting
It is finished
Jesus is King
[Bridge]
No more striving
No more chains
Freedom's song forever reigns
[Chorus]
It is finished
The debt has been paid
Mercy has spoken
The stone rolled away
Sin is defeated
Death lost its sting
It is finished
Jesus is King
[Outro]
It is finished
Jesus is King
It is finished
Jesus is King
