About The Collingsworth Family
The Collingsworth Family is a Southern Gospel and inspirational music group based in Mt. Orab, Ohio. The group was founded by Phil and Kim Collingsworth, who began their music ministry as a duo in 1986. In 2000, the couple transitioned to a full-time concert ministry, and their four children—Brooklyn, Courtney, Phillip Jr., and Olivia—became permanent members of the act.
The family is signed to the Gaither Music Group label and has appeared on the Gaither Homecoming concert series. Their performances often feature vocal harmonies, piano, and violin.
The group has released several albums, including Part of the Family (2011), That Day Is Coming (2015), Brooklyn & Courtney (2017), Mercy & Love (2018), A True Family Christmas (2019), Worship from Home (2020), Just Sing! (2021), and Classics & Hymns (2024). In 2007, they received the Harmony Award for New Artist of the Year from the Southern Gospel Music Guild. Their compilation The Best of The Collingsworth Family – Volume 1 was nominated for Best Roots Gospel Album at the 2018 Grammy Awards.
