Lyrics
The day the lamb was crucified
The cross, the nails, His bleeding side
The promised one, our sacrifice
The day the lamb was crucified
The day the lamb lay in the grave
As darkness stole our hope away
It seemed the tomb had sealed our fate
The day the lam lay in the grave
The day the lamb Himself foretold
No one believed, how could they know
The death nor grave could ever hold
The day the lamb Himself foretold
As heaven's heart began to pound
And anxious angels gathered 'round
All hell could heart the rattling sound
As breaking chains fell to the ground
As breaking chains fell to the ground
The day the lamb of God arose
Our champion King, our blessed hope
Reclaimed the crown of heaven's throne
The day the lamb of God arose
He arose, He arose
Hallelujah, the lamb arose
As heaven's heart began to pound
And anxious angels gathered 'round
All hell could heart the rattling sound
As breaking chains fell to the ground
As breaking chains fell to the ground
He arose, He arose
Hallelujah, hallelujah
The lamb of God arose, arose
He arose
