About Acapeldridge
Acapeldridge is the stage name of G. Michael Eldridge, an American musician and pharmacist who records and performs traditional Christian hymns and gospel music in a cappella style. The project consists of Eldridge singing all four vocal parts of his arrangements himself.
Eldridge was born in Oxford, Ohio, and raised in Connersville, Indiana. He began his musical background singing in church with his family. While attending Purdue University, he was a member of the Purdue Varsity Glee Club. The Acapeldridge YouTube channel was launched in 2016.
Alongside his music project, Eldridge continues to work as a pharmacist for long-term senior care facilities. His recordings include the singles “It Is Well with My Soul,” “When I Go Home,” and “In Christ Alone.” He has released several albums: Whatever Is True (2017), Whatever Is Pure (2019), Whatever Is Lovely (2020), Legacy Hymns, Volume 1 (2024), and Legacy Hymns, Volume 2 (2025).
