Shekinah Glory - Like Never Before (Reprise) Lyrics

“Like Never Before (Reprise)” is a concise prayer for God’s power and glory to be made evident. Rather than developing a long narrative, the lyric relies on repeated petitions: the Lord is asked to send power, release glory, awaken passion, and fall upon the gathered place. That repetition gives the reprise the character of sustained corporate worship, with each phrase returning attention to dependence on God’s presence rather than human effort.

The request for renewed passion suggests a desire for worship and devotion that are not merely routine. Its language also recalls biblical accounts in which believers prayed together and experienced the work of the Holy Spirit. Acts 4:31 is a particularly close thematic connection because prayer is followed by the gathering place being shaken and the believers being filled with boldness. Psalm 63:1 also fits the song’s longing, describing an earnest thirst for God. These references clarify the lyric’s focus without assigning a specific promise to the repeated request.
