Lyrics
Nothing else but You
Nothing else but You
Everything I need is You
Nothing else but You
Nothing else but You
You're my joy, my hope
Lord in You I'm complete
Nothing else but You
You're my hope, my faith
Lord in You I'm complete
Everything I need is You
Nothing else but You
Nothing else but You
Everything I need is You
Nothing else but You
Nothing else but You
You're my joy, my hope
Lord in You I'm complete
Nothing else but You
You're my hope, my faith
Lord in You I'm complete
I need nothing else but You
Everything I need is You
Nothing else but You
Nothing else but You
My way maker, my strong tower
My deliverer, my shield
My hope...
my hope, my faith
Lord in You I'm complete
Written & Composed by : Ps Isaiah Fosu Kwakye Jnr
Head of Thy Church triumphant,
We joyfully adore Thee;
Till Thou appear, Thy members here
Shall sing like those in glory:
We lift our hearts and voices
With blest anticipation,
And cry aloud, and give to God
The praise of our salvation.
Written By Charles Wesley
For he alone is worthy,
for he alone is worthy,
for he alone is worthy,
Christ the Lord.

Meaning & Inspiration
“Everything I Need” expresses complete dependence on God through a sequence of worship refrains and hymn material. Its central declaration names God as joy, hope, faith, deliverer, shield, strong tower, and the source of spiritual completeness. Repetition gives the confession a meditative quality, continually returning to the claim that nothing else can occupy the same place.
The later hymn passage broadens the focus from personal reliance to the worship of the church. Christ is honored as the triumphant head, believers anticipate his appearing, and praise rises in response to salvation. The closing declaration of Christ’s worthiness gathers the medley around adoration rather than personal achievement. Several biblical images stand close behind these lines: the Psalms describe God as refuge and shield, while the New Testament speaks of fullness in Christ and names him as head of the church. Together, the sections move from individual need to shared praise, presenting divine sufficiency as both present comfort and future hope.
