Lyrics
Verse 1
I will never forget
The moment I met you
The moment you called my name
Pulled me out of the darkness
Gave me a promise
To never thirst again
Chorus
All that I ever wanted
My heart has found in you
I have tasted life
Nothing satisfies
Like you do
The fount that won't run dry
Nothing satisfies like you do
Verse 2
I want all that You offer
Your living water
Drink from the endless well
I will sit at your table
Forever grateful
Forever where You plan
Chorus
All that I ever wanted
My heart has found in you
I have tasted life
Nothing satisfies
Like you do
The fount that won't run dry
Nothing satisfies like you do
Bridge
All my fountains are in
All my hope is built on your love
All my fountains are in you
With every breath I live for you Lord
All my fountains are in you
All my hope is built on your love
All my fountains are in you
With every breath I live for you Lord
Chorus
All that I ever wanted
My heart has found in you
I have tasted life
Nothing satisfies
Like you do
The fount that won't run dry
Nothing satisfies like you do

Meaning & Inspiration
“Fountains” uses the biblical image of living water to describe lasting satisfaction in God. The first verse remembers a call out of darkness and a promise that thirst will end. From there, the chorus contrasts every other desire with the life found in God, whose fountain does not run dry. The second verse adds the images of an endless well and a place at God’s table, expressing dependence, gratitude, and belonging.
The central image clearly recalls Jesus’ words in John 4:13–14, where the water he gives becomes a spring leading to eternal life. The bridge’s declaration that all fountains are in God also echoes Psalm 87:7, while its confession of hope rests on divine love. Repetition gives the song the character of worship: satisfaction, hope, breath, and purpose all return to the same source. Its message is not merely relief from thirst, but a life continually sustained by God’s presence and provision.
