About Josh Baldwin
Josh Baldwin is a worship leader and singer-songwriter known for his work with the Bethel Music collective. Born Joshua Aaron Baldwin on July 8, 1979, in Albemarle, North Carolina, he grew up in a church-centered environment and began leading worship and playing guitar during his high school years. Before joining Bethel Music, he served as a worship pastor in North Carolina for a decade.
In 2014, Baldwin joined the Bethel Music collective and relocated to Redding, California, to serve at Bethel Church. His musical style blends contemporary worship with influences from folk, country, and Southern rock. He now resides in Thompson’s Station, Tennessee, with his wife and children.
Baldwin’s discography includes the independent album Changing (2008), followed by Rivers (2014) as part of Bethel Music. His single “Praises (Be Lifted Up)” released in 2016, and his album The War Is Over (2017) debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Christian Albums chart. The song “Stand in Your Love” (2018) became a gold-certified single and earned him two K-LOVE Fan Award nominations in 2019 for Breakout Single of the Year and Worship Song of the Year.
His later releases include the album Where the Glory Is (2022), the chart-topping single “Made For More” (2024), which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Christian charts, and Full Grown Man, Vol. I (2025).
