Have your way Lord
Have your way
Have your way Lord
Have your way
Do what you want to do
As long as you want to
Have your way Lord
Have your way Lord
We're here right now have your way
We're here right now have your way
Have your way Lord
Have your way
Have your way Lord
Have your way
Do what you want to do
As long as you want to
Have your way Lord
Have your way Lord
We're here right now have your way
We're here right now have your way
In this service, have your way
In this service, have your way
Do what you want to do
As long as you want to
Have your way Lord
Have your way Lord
We're here right now have your way
We're here right now have your way
In this service, have your way
In this service, have your way
Do what you want to do
As long as you want to
Have your way Lord

We're here right now have your way
In this service have your way
In this service have your way
Do what you want to do
As long as you want to
Have your way Lord
Have your way Lord
We're here right now have your way
We're here right now have your way
Verse:
We come here to listen
To what you have to say
Yes to your will, and the same to your way
I receive it down in my spirit
And I'm under your command
It's your decision and I'm leaving it in your hands
In my life Lord, have your way
In my life Lord, have your way
Do what you want to do
As long as you want to
Have your way Lord,
Have your way Lord
We're here right now, have your way
We're here right now, have your way
In my life Lord, have your way
In my life Lord, have your way
Do what you want to do
As long as you want to
Have your way Lord
Have your way Lord
We're here right now, have your way
We're here right now, have your way
Have your way Lord, have your way
Have your way Lord, have your way
Do what you want to do
As long as you want to
Have your way Lord
Have your way Lord
We're here right now have your way
We're here right now have your way
We're here right now have your way
We're here right now have your waaaaayyyyyy

Meaning & Inspiration
Have Your Way Lord centers on surrender to God in both gathered worship and personal life. The repeated request for the Lord to act freely presents submission as more than a passing emotion; it becomes a willingness to receive divine direction and remain under divine command. The movement from the service to the individual life gives the prayer a broad scope, while the recurring words create the character of a congregational plea.
The verse adds a posture of listening and obedience, placing the decision in God’s hands rather than human control. That theme closely reflects the submission expressed in Luke 22:42 and the offering of one’s life to God described in Romans 12:1. Even amid its repetition, the song keeps its focus clear: worship includes yielding plans, choices, and circumstances to the Lord. Dorothy Norwood’s testimony-like closing reinforces the immediacy of that prayer without changing its central message of trust and surrender.
