“He’s Able” builds its assurance around the conviction that God can exceed human expectations and remain faithful to every promise. The opening language closely follows Ephesians 3:20, moving from “exceedingly” to “abundantly” and then beyond what can be asked. That biblical foundation gives the chorus its confidence: divine ability is not limited by discouragement, weakness, or circumstances that might tempt a person to give up.
The repeated call not to give up on God is answered by the claim that God does not abandon his people. Hebrews 10:23 offers a related basis for that perseverance, urging believers to hold firmly to hope because the one who promised is faithful. As the song expands through call-and-response repetition, testimony and exhortation become communal praise. The emphasis stays on God’s reliability rather than human resolve alone.
