Lyrics
[Verse 1]
You surpass, You are last, You are greater
There's no equal, no sequel to the Author
And the Finisher of my story, of my faith
I will trust in Your higher ways
[Chorus]
Over my future and my plans
Over my needs, You understand
Jesus over everything
Jesus overall
Over my weakness and my strength
Every loss and every gain
Jesus over everything
Jesus over everything
[Verse 2]
No deception or any weapon could ever prosper
They surrender to my Defender and to the Keeper
And the Finisher of my story, of my faith
I will trust in Your higher ways
[Chorus]
Over my future and my plans
Over my needs, You understand
Jesus over everything
Jesus overall
Over my weakness and my strength
Every loss and every gain
Jesus over everything
Jesus over everything
[Bridge]
When it seems You are all coming together
When it all falls apart
In the end, You are the answer
The only one that's gone
You are the one that is God
(You are the one that is God)
[Chorus]
Over my future and my plans
Over my needs, You understand
Jesus over everything
Jesus overall
Over my weakness and my strength
Every loss and every gain
Jesus over everything
Jesus over everything
[Outro]
(Jesus over everything)
(Jesus overall)
(Jesus over everything)
(Jesus over everything)
(Jesus over everything)
