Lyrics
Verse 1
I am standing here a broken man
Trying to just survive and catch my breath
Holding all the pieces in my hands
Would You make the broken whole again?
Lord, make it beautiful again
This world has chewed me up and spit me out
Left the taste of pain inside my mouth
And if I don't deal, it will come out
Lord, I know You know what's best for me
Through the mystery I will believe
Chorus
Jesus my anchor, Jesus my stay
Jesus my portion now and always
Found in Your mercy, held in Your grace
Oh, Jesus always
Verse 2
There's so many things that You have planned
I can trust the working of Your hands
Through things that I don't understand
It's the mystery down underneath
It's the mystery You work in me
Chorus
Jesus my anchor, Jesus my stay
Jesus my portion now and always
Found in Your mercy, held in Your grace
Oh, Jesus always
Bridge
Mm, let my roots grow deeper still
In the love that never ends
Let my roots grow deeper still
Let my roots grow deeper still
In the love that never ends
Let my roots grow deeper still
Chorus
Jesus my anchor, Jesus my stay
Jesus my portion now and always
Found in Your mercy, held in Your grace
Oh, Jesus always
Oh, Jesus always
