Lyrics
[Verse 1]
I heard the voice of Jesus say
Come unto Me and rest
Lay down thy weary one, lay down
Thy head upon My breast
[Verse 2]
So I came to Him just as I was
Weary worn and sad
I found in Him a resting place
And He has made me glad
[Chorus]
You're my resting place
My resting place
There’s so much joy I found in You
My resting place
[Verse 2]
Say I came to Him (I came to Him just as I was)
Weary worn (Weary worn and sad)
And I found in Him a resting place (I found in Him a resting place)
Say I found in Him a resting place
And He has made me glad
[Chorus]
You're my resting place
My resting place
So much joy I found in You
My resting place
[Bridge]
I've found, a river of joy; and it’s in You
I've found, a river of joy; and it's in You
I've found, a river of joy; and it's in You
I've found, a river of joy
I hear You calling me… the river of joy
("Come drink from the river of joy")
I hear You calling me… the river of joy
("Come drink from the river of joy")
I hear You calling me… the river of joy
("Come drink from the river of joy")
I hear You calling me… the river of joy
("Come drink from the river of joy")
And He's still calling us… the river of joy
("Come drink from the river of joy")
We'll never have to thirst again, the river… the river of joy
("Come drink from the river of joy")
And He’s still calling us… the river of joy
("Come drink from the river of joy")
He’s still calling us… the river
("Come drink from the river of joy")
[Chorus]
You're my resting place
My resting place
(So much joy I found in You)
My resting place
