About New Life Worship
New Life Worship is a contemporary worship music band based at New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The group is a collective of worship leaders and musicians who serve the congregation, and their music is categorized as contemporary worship and contemporary Christian music. The band was launched in 1991 when Ross Parsley formed New Life Ministries, and over the years, notable songwriters and worship leaders associated with the group have included Ross Parsley, Jon Egan, Glenn Packiam, Jared Anderson, and Cory Asbury.
New Life Worship made their recording debut in 1998 with the album Celebrate New Life. Since then, the group has released a series of live albums, including I Am Free (2004), My Savior Lives (2006), and Counting On God: Live (2008). More recent releases include Strong God: Live (2013), Soak (2015), Over It All: Live (2022), and God Is: Live (2024).
The band’s stated mission is to nourish a biblically faithful, historically rooted, and multi-generational worship culture. Through their live recordings and leadership at New Life Church, the group has contributed to the landscape of contemporary Christian worship music for more than three decades.
