New Life Worship - Amazed Lyrics

"Amazed" opens with unexpected imagery, God dancing and singing around the singer without their awareness, picturing divine affection as active and ongoing even when unnoticed. That image of joy given regardless of perception frames the entire song around grace received rather than earned attention.

Its repeated chorus responds to that unnoticed activity with simple amazement, naming being loved as the specific cause of wonder rather than any personal accomplishment. The bridge extends that wonder through a series of dimensional questions, how wide, how deep, how great, each probing the same love without arriving at a final measurement.

Rooted in contemporary worship's simple, repetitive style, the song functions as an expression of awe at love that precedes awareness, its central image of God dancing and singing echoing a prophetic picture of God rejoicing over his people with singing.
