Casey J, born Casey Janice Hobbs on June 29, 1986, in Atlanta, Georgia, is a gospel singer and worship leader. She began her professional life as an elementary school math teacher before stepping into full-time ministry. She served as a worship leader and worship pastor at Fresh Start Church in Duluth, Georgia. Her musical style has been described as blending traditional Americana sounds with Pentecostal worship influences.

Her debut album, The Truth, was released in 2015 on Tyscot Records. The album reached number 1 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart. Its breakout single, "Fill Me Up," reached number 1 on the Billboard Gospel Airplay chart. Another single from the same period, "I'm Yours," also reached number 1 on the Billboard Gospel Airplay chart. In 2016, Casey J won a Stellar Award for New Artist of the Year.

She later released the album The Gathering and has also shared new music on the EP The Stories We Sing Vol. 1, released in 2026, which includes songs such as "If God / Nothing but the Blood," "Song of My Life," and "One Day."
