Elders, creatures bow
Giving glory to the Lord, to the Lord
And before Your throne

Worthy, worthy is the Lamb
Son of God, Son of Man
Worthy, worthy to receive
All the glory, all the glory

Every knee will bow
Every eye will see the Lord, see the Lord

We will sing in one accord, one accord

Meaning & Inspiration

All The Glory is a worship song that follows the scene of heaven worshiping the Lamb. The first verse pictures elders and creatures bowing and giving glory before the throne, speaking in one accord. The chorus declares that the Lamb, the Son of God and Son of Man, is worthy to receive all the glory, and the second verse looks ahead to every knee bowing and every eye seeing the Lord.

The bridge adds the voice of many angels in unison, ten thousand times ten thousand, an immeasurable song, and the open scroll held by the Lamb, ending with the One who was and is to come purchasing a kingdom of priests by His blood. These images are drawn from Revelation 4:9-11, Revelation 5:6-13 and Philippians 2:10-11, with Revelation 1:6 on priests to God. The repeated chorus and growing scale make the song a declaration for large-gathering worship.
