Lyrics
We get lost in the middle of it all
Caught up in another free fall
Desperate for a short term dream
Missing the forest for the trees
We get stuck thinking heaven's holding out
While a piece of it's happening now
I know when I'm looking at you
Start thinking that it might be true
Seasons may push and pull apart
But I won't let you forget we are
Under the same stars ancient hearts started to beat
Made by the same stuff that covers every mountain with trees
And when our time has faded out I promise you we will see that
Love is forever, love is forever
Evergreen, oh...
Evergreen
Let's get lost in the rhythm of the sky
Lifetime's living in the blink of an eye
Stop thinking this is all we got
Cuz if we got love then we've got it all
Seasons may push and pull apart
But I won't let you forget we are
Under the same stars ancient hearts started to beat
Made by the same stuff that covers every mountain with trees
And when our time has faded out I promise you we will see that
Love is forever, love is forever
Evergreen, oh...
Always returning like the sun sets into the sea
The love we give is gonna go on infinitely
It's rising up from hiding roots buried in the deep
Our love is forever, love is forever
Under the same stars ancient hearts started to beat
Made by the same stuff that covers every mountain with trees
And when our time has faded out I promise you we will see that
Love is forever, love is forever
Evergreen
Oh, love is forever
Evergreen, oh...
Evergreen
Evergreen
