Lyrics
In the Midst
We cry out
Holy Spirit Come
Set your Fire over us
On your servants who are willing
Touch our lives
We will never be the same
Set your Fire over us
On your servants who are willing
Touch me
Fill me
Holy Spirit
Change me
Mold me
Holy Spirit
Let Your Fire Fall
Let Your Healing flow
Let Your Voice be heard and known
Let Your Fire Fall
Let Your Healing flow
Let Your Voice be heard and known
Holy Spirit Reign
Holy Spirit Reign
Holy Spirit Reign on me
Be filled
Be healed
Be changed
In His Presence
There is Power in Your Presence
Healing in Your Presence
Freedom in Your Presence
Blessing in Your Presence

Meaning & Inspiration
"Holy Spirit Reign" is a prayer for God’s Spirit to meet willing servants in the midst of their need. The repeated cries of "Touch me" and "Fill me" give the song a posture of surrender, while its petitions for healing, freedom, and change keep the focus on God’s transforming presence.
The imagery of fire recalls the Spirit’s appearance at Pentecost, when tongues as of fire rested on the disciples. Here, that image becomes a request for purification and renewal rather than a claim of control. The closing declarations about power, healing, freedom, and blessing place each hope within God’s presence. As a whole, the song moves from corporate prayer to personal surrender and finally to confident praise. before God in expectant faith.
