Magnify portrays worship as a change of vision. Sorrow, sin, weakness, and persistent worry have filled the attention of the singer until God appears small beside immediate problems. The prayer asks for those distractions to be removed and for spiritual sight to open. Even a glimpse of God is enough to expose sin, redirect hope, and awaken a desire for more of his presence.
