Everything, Pt. 1 and Pt. 2 builds a worship confession through names for the ways God meets human need. Life, breath, peace, joy, and hope appear first, followed by titles such as Master, Savior, Ruler, and Redeemer. The call-and-response form allows each title to stand as its own declaration. As the lead names shelter, provision, deliverance, healing, and fatherly care, the chorus answers with recognition and praise. The repeated phrase that God is everything gathers those individual testimonies into a single confession of dependence.
The later focus on Jesus gives the performance a clear center. Salvation is attributed to his name, and the worshippers bow before the King rather than celebrating their own endurance. Psalm 46 describes God as refuge and present help, which closely fits the images of shelter and deliverance.
