Lyrics

Verse 1

Father make us one
Fill us with Your passion
We'll stay on the wall
Making intercession
How 'us 'how to pray
Watching 'while we wait, Oh Lord

Verse 2

Heaven here on earth
Let the will of God come
This our only hope
Jesus and His Kingdom
It's time we believe
We were made for so much more

Pre-Chorus 1

When we fall on our knees
We know we will see
His glory If we only believe
He's building our testimony

Chorus

We agree with heaven Oh heaven
We agree with heaven Come heaven

Verse 3

Father make us bold
Pushing back the darkness
Counting up the cost
Picking up our crosses
We love not our lives
Even unto death, oh Lord

Pre-Chorus 2 (Repeat)

Chorus (Repeat)

Bridge

If it's settled in You
Then it's settled in me
And if you spoke it for us
Then that's what we'll see
If it's already done there
Then let it be done here
Let heaven come
Let heaven come

Meaning & Inspiration

We Agree With Heaven is a prayer for unity and for God's will to come on earth. The first verse asks the Father to make His people one and fill them with His passion, staying on the wall in intercession and watching while they wait. The second verse prays for heaven on earth, the will of God coming, with Jesus and His Kingdom as the only hope, and a belief that the people were made for more.

The chorus declares agreement with heaven and calls for heaven to come, and the bridge says that if it is settled in God it is settled in the singer, and that what He has spoken will be seen. The language draws on Matthew 6:10 for the will of God on earth, Matthew 18:19 on agreement in prayer, Isaiah 62:6 on watchmen on the wall, and John 17:21 on unity. A third verse asks for boldness, counting the cost and taking up the cross. The song is declarative and intercessory.
