Meaning & Inspiration
“I Bless” by Sinach is a short praise song of thanksgiving that keeps returning to one line, “We bless the name of Jesus.” The opening verse speaks in the first person, saying that the Lord is so good to the singer and that she tells what He has done everywhere she goes. The testimony is brief, but it explains why the praise follows.
The second verse describes God breathing His wisdom over the singer, calling His revelations truth, and naming Him as the answer to her prayers. The bridge repeats that His Hallelujah is forever and that she will praise His name forever.
