Lyrics
Chorus
A million tongues would never be enough
To tell all You have done
With Everything within my very soul
I say thank you Jesus
Verse 1
You are faithful
You are good
You are faithful
You are good
You have blessed me
More than I dreamed of
You’ve been so good
More than I can explain
Can somebody lift up your hands?
You have been so good
Verse 2
Even when the enemies came again to kill my life
But You Oh Lord You delivered
You have healed me
You have restored me
You have lifted me
I don't know about You
But Sinach is grateful ...
Come on
Verse 1 (Repeat)
You have blessed me
More than I dreamed of
You’ve been so good
More than I can explain
Chorus (Repeat)
A million tongues would never be enough
To tell all You have done
With Everything within my very soul
I say thank you Jesus

Meaning & Inspiration
“A Million Tongues” is a thanksgiving song by Sinach that begins with the admission that no amount of words could tell all God has done. The opening image of “a million tongues” being not enough is close to Psalm 40:5, where the wonders of God are more than can be counted. The singer then gives thanks with “everything within my very soul,” which echoes Psalm 103:1.
The verses call God faithful and good, say He has blessed the singer beyond what was dreamed, and invite those singing along to lift up their hands. A middle section recalls enemies who came to kill, yet God “delivered,” and it lists what He has done: healed, restored, and lifted. The song then returns to its opening promise of thanks.
The lyric is plain testimony, built on repetition so a congregation can join in thanking Jesus for what only He could do.
