Lyrics
The first one to church, the last one to leave
Known for the smile on his face
Love by the young, the old and the one
Who needed some help along the way
And if you ask anyone who has met him
About his life they would say
That this is what love looks like
This is how mercy lives
This is what one man can do
When he pulls out his heart till the end
And this is what faith can be, leaving a legacy
With arms open wide, it lays down his life
Well this is what love looks like
He lifts up his heart, his word you can trust
He'll stand by your side in the storm
Open hand, open heart, just come as you want
You'll know when you walk through his door
That this is what love looks like
This is how mercy lives
This is what one man can do
When he pulls out his heart till the end
And this is what faith can be, leaving a legacy
With arms open wide, it lays down his life
Well this is what love looks like
And if you ask how he lived
A life that has been
So faithful day after day
You'll just laugh for a while
And fade like a child
You point to the cross and he'll sing
That this is what love looks like
This is how mercy lives
This is what one man can do
When he pulls out his heart till the end
And this is what faith can be, leaving a legacy
With arms open wide, it lays down his life
Well this is what love looks like
This is what love looks like
This is what love looks like
This is what love looks like
