Falling In Love describes growing devotion to God in response to divine love, care, and sacrifice. The opening verse moves from life in the womb to Christ’s willingness to face death, presenting salvation as love that sees human need and acts to bring freedom. The repeated refrain turns that account into affection: love for God increases as his prior love becomes better known.
Later lines acknowledge flaws and limitations while expressing confidence that God sees beyond outward appearance and knows the inner person. The song then moves toward surrender of heart, soul, mind, and the whole self. That language recalls biblical commands to love God completely, while the references to being known before birth echo the psalms’ account of God’s care in the womb.
