Lyrics
Fill this house with Your glory
Fill this house with Your glory
Let Your presence fall upon us now
For all things are through You
And all things are to You
Rend the heavens, send Your glory down
Fill this house with Your glory
Fill this house with Your glory
Let Your presence fall upon us now
For all things are through You
And all things are to You
Rend the heavens, send Your glory down
Holy, holy
Holy is the Lord
Jesus is King of kings
We sing forever more
Fill this house with Your glory
Fill this house with Your glory
Let Your presence fall upon us now
For all things are through You
And all things are to You
Rend the heavens, send Your glory down
Holy, holy
Holy is the Lord
Jesus is King of kings
We sing forever more
Holy, holy
Holy is the Lord
Jesus is King of kings
We sing forever more
Holy, holy
Holy is the Lord
Jesus is King of kings
We sing forever more
Fill this house with Your glory
Fill this house with Your glory
Let Your presence fall upon us now
For all things are through You
And all things are to You
Rend the heavens, send Your glory down
Fill this house with Your glory
Fill this house with Your glory
Let Your presence fall upon us now
For all things are through You
And all things are to You
Rend the heavens, send Your glory down

Meaning & Inspiration
Fill This House With Your Glory is a prayer for the manifest presence of God among gathered worshippers. Its repeated request joins reverence with dependence: the house cannot be filled by human effort, but only by God’s glory descending. The lines “all things are through You” and “all things are to You” place both creation and worship under God’s rule, while the plea to rend the heavens gives the song a tone of earnest expectation.
The declaration “Holy, holy” echoes the heavenly worship described in Isaiah 6:3 and Revelation 4:8, where God’s holiness is proclaimed without end. Romans 11:36 is also closely reflected in the confession that all things are through and to God. By naming Jesus as King of kings, the lyric moves from petition into adoration and agrees with Revelation 19:16. Repetition gives the song the character of a congregational prayer, returning again and again to God’s presence, holiness, and sovereign glory.
