Lyrics
Verse 1
I believe the Lord is coming back
Yeah, I believe the Lord is coming back
He's coming soon
For me and you
Verse 2
Young men begin to prophesy
And old men are dreaming in the night
He's coming soon
For me and you
Pre-Chorus
We will welcome Him, our lamps are filled with oil
We will welcome Him when He comes
Chorus
Just like a thief in the night
Our salvation comes and takes the world by surprise
The Bright and Holy One is like a thief in the night
Who's come to take us home
He's closer than He's ever been before
We're waiting on the coming of the Lord
Verse 3
I know we've begun to see the signs
But we don't ever have to run and hide
He's coming soon
For me and you
Verse 4
And every knee will bow, and tongue confess
That Jesus is the name above the rest
He's coming soon
Yeah
Chorus
Just like a thief in the night
Our salvation comes and takes the world by surprise
The Bright and Holy One is like a thief in the night
Who's come to take us home
He's closer than He's ever been before
We're waiting on the coming of the Lord
Pre-Chorus
We will welcome Him, our lamps are filled with oil
We will welcome Him when He comes
We will welcome Him, our lamps are filled with oil
We will welcome Him when He comes
Chorus
Just like a thief in the night
Our salvation comes and takes the world by surprise
The Bright and Holy One is like a thief in the night
Who's come to take us home
He's closer than He's ever been before
He's closer than He's ever been before
We're waiting on the coming of the Lord, oh
