Lyrics
Verse 1
Found in Your name the power to save
With only a whisper mountains shake
Jesus, our hope and strength
You made a way, unlocked these chains
Here in Your presence strongholds break
Freed by the love You gave
Chorus
We give You the highest praise
You deserve it all, You deserve it all
Verse 2
There on a tree merciful King
Broken and shamed for all to see
The Father laid down His Son
From darkness to light
Death lost to life
Heaven and earth will join and sing
Jesus has overcome
Bridge
With every breath that’s in my lungs
My heart cries out to You belongs
The glory
Through every loss or victory
My soul will rise to only bring
You glory
We give You the highest praise
You deserve it all, You deserve it all

Meaning & Inspiration
“You Deserve It All” is a worship song built around the worthiness of Jesus and the praise that belongs to him. Its verses move from the saving power of his name to the freedom found in his presence. Images of shaking mountains, broken strongholds, and opened chains present divine authority as a source of hope and strength. The chorus answers these declarations with a simple offering of highest praise.
The second verse turns toward the cross, describing the merciful King who was shamed and the Son given by the Father. It then celebrates the movement from darkness to light and from death to life through Christ’s victory. The bridge makes that response personal: every breath, loss, and victory becomes an occasion to give God glory. This progression closely reflects biblical themes of Christ’s triumph and the worship offered to the worthy Lamb. The repeated refrain gives the song a clear congregational focus on gratitude, surrender, and adoration.
