Lyrics
?Qui?n es El? Su grandeza es sin igual
?Qui?n es El? La tierra tiembla a su llamar
?Qui?n es El? Que pagando un precio vil
muri? en una cruz ?Su nombre es Cristo!
(coro)
Cristo. desde el Padre descendi?
Cristo, como hombre y como Dios
Cristo, muri? y resucit?
Cristo, el Cordero y el Le?n
?Qui?n es El? Nadie iguala su poder
?Qui?n es El? Todo enemigo est? a sus pies
?Qui?n es El? Quien humilde se entreg?
por ti y por, m? sufri? ?Su nombre es Cristo!
?El Cordero Inmolado
el Le?n que est? reinando
es mi Salvador y mi Rey!
?Qui?n es El? Como fuego es su mirar
?Qui?n es El? El que inspira nuestra ser
?Qui?n es El? Todo culpa en El llev?
al perdido rescat?...
?Su nombre es Cristo!

Meaning & Inspiration
“El Cordero Y El Leon” presents Jesus through two complementary biblical images: the sacrificed Lamb and the reigning Lion. Its questions about Christ’s identity lead through his descent from the Father, true humanity and deity, death, resurrection, and royal authority. The lyric holds humility and majesty together, describing the one who surrendered himself at the cross as the king before whom every enemy is placed.
The Lamb and Lion imagery closely recalls Revelation, where the victorious Lion of Judah appears as a Lamb who was slain. The song also echoes Paul’s account of Christ humbling himself to death and then being exalted above every name. Its confession that Christ died and rose aligns with the central apostolic summary of the gospel. By naming him Savior and King, the lyric gathers sacrifice, rescue, resurrection, judgment, and reign into a single declaration of worship focused on the person and work of Christ.
