Crystal Lewis - Come Just As You Are Lyrics

Come Just As You Are is an invitation song that calls listeners to come to God as they are. The lyrics repeat "Come just as you are" with the call to hear the Spirit, and add three steps: come and see, come receive, come and live forever.

The second half names what is offered: life everlasting, strength for today and the living water that quenches thirst for good. That imagery draws on Revelation 22:17, where the Spirit and the bride say come and the thirsty are invited to take the water of life, and on John 4:14 and John 7:37-38 where Jesus speaks of living water. The closing lines name Christ as King and repeat the invitation to live forever. Because the wording is simple and the refrain is repeated, the song suits an invitation time at the end of a service, when a congregation wants to extend an open welcome and invite listeners to respond.
