Lyrics
[Verse 1]
Battles on battles
Storms on storms
Can a heart this broken
Break anymore?
Bet the enemy's smiling
Thinking I'm done
But he's losing a war
Heaven's already won
[Pre-Chorus]
Yeah, the devil did his best, but it wasn't enough
Devil did his best, but it wasn't enough
Might be knocked down, but I'm not giving up
The devil did his best, but it wasn't enough
[Chorus]
My victory's coming
My victory's coming
Tell hell to start running
My victory's coming
His Word, I believe it
My God's undefeated
Tell hell to start running
My victory's coming
[Verse 2]
I'm singing through struggle
I'm praising through pain
He's always come through, yeah
And He'll do it again, do it again, yeah
[Pre-Chorus]
Yeah, the devil did his best, but it wasn't enough (Wasn't enough)
Devil did his best, but it wasn't enough (No, no, no)
Might be knocked down, but I'm not giving up (Not giving up)
The devil did his best, but it wasn't enough
[Chorus]
My victory's coming
My victory's coming
Tell hell to start running
My victory's coming
His Word, I believe it
My God's undefeated
Tell hell to start running
My victory's coming
[Bridge]
Hard-pressed, but not crushed
Persecuted, not abandoned
Struck down, but not destroyed
My hope is in the Lord, my hope is in the Lord
(Oh) Hard-pressed, but not crushed
Persecuted, not abandoned (Oh, I'm never abandoned)
Struck down, but not destroyed
'Cause my hope is in the Lord, my hope is in the Lord
[Pre-Chorus]
Devil did his best, but it wasn't enough
Devil did his best, but it's never enough
[Chorus]
My victory's coming
My victory's coming
Tell hell to start running
My victory's coming
His Word, I believe it
My God's undefeated
Tell hell to start running
My victory's coming
[Outro]
Yeah, the devil did his best, but it wasn't enough, yeah
The devil did his best, but it wasn't enough
I might be knocked down, but I'm not giving up
The devil did his best, but it's never enough
