Victoria Orenze was born on March 23, 1984, in Nigeria. She is a gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader known for a soul-stirring worship style. Her musical journey began as a backup singer in her local church. She is also a violinist who studied at the Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON) and the Berklee College of Music, and she leads the Jesus Unhindered ministry.
Orenze gained widespread recognition following her 2017 collaboration with Nathaniel Bassey on the song “Alagbada Ina.” Her catalog includes songs such as “On Fire,” “Covenant Keeping God,” “I Get Backing,” and “My Master, My Lord.” She also collaborated with Nathaniel Bassey and Dunsin Oyekan on “See How Far.” She has released the albums Return Rev. 2:4 and Truth in Sounds.
Orenze has received several award nominations. She was nominated for Best Inspirational Single at The Headies 2023 for “I Get Backing” and for Gospel Artiste of the Year at the 2023 Galaxy Music Awards. In 2018, she was nominated for Song of the Year at the CLIMA Awards for “On Fire” and for Song of Excellence at the African Gospel Music and Media Awards (AGMMA) for “Alagbada Ina.” In 2024, she was commissioned into the Apostolic Ministry by Bishop Francis Wale Oke.
