About My Epic
My Epic is an American rock band formed in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 2005. The group is identified as a Christian rock band, with core members including Aaron Stone, Tanner Morita, and Nate Washburn. From their early years, the band’s music has explored themes of faith, doubt, and the human experience.
My Epic released their first EP, This Is Rescue, in 2006, followed by their debut full-length album, I Am Undone, in 2008. That same year, they signed with Facedown Records. They continued to build their catalog with the albums Yet (2010) and Behold (2013). The latter reached the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart and the Billboard Christian Albums chart. They also released the EP Broken Voice in 2011.
In the mid-2010s, the band issued a series of EPs: Viscera (2016), Ultraviolet (2018), and Violence (2019). In 2020, My Epic signed with Tooth & Nail Records. Their fourth full-length album, Loriella, was released in 2024 on that label. Over nearly two decades, the band has developed a sound that moves from post-hardcore and indie rock origins into more ambient and cinematic territory while maintaining a lyricism centered on spiritual struggle and honesty.
