Aline Barros, born Aline Kistenmacker Barros dos Santos on October 7, 1976, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and worship leader who has built a career in gospel music spanning over thirty years. She also serves as an evangelical pastor at the Comunidade Evangélica Internacional da Zona Sul in Rio de Janeiro.
Barros began participating in church praise teams at age nine, planting the seeds for her life in ministry. She is married to Gilmar Santos, a former football player and minister, and in 2010 she released an autobiography titled Fé e Paixão.
Her body of work includes albums such as Graça and Extraordinário Amor de Deus, and songs like “Ressuscita-me,” “Casa do Pai,” “Jeová Jireh,” “Rendido Estou,” “Sonda-me, Usa-me,” and “Pisa na Muralha.” Many of her albums have earned gold, platinum, and diamond certifications from the Associação Brasileira dos Produtores de Discos (ABPD).
Barros has received eight Latin Grammy Awards in the category of Best Portuguese Language Christian Album, as well as a Dove Award, reflecting the recognition her music has received over the course of her long career.
