Lyrics
[Verse]
When my heart is aching
And I can't see the way ahead
When the worry gets so heavy
And the night is closing in
I will lift my eyes
To where my help is always found
He has never failed me
And He won't fail me now
[Chorus]
My hope is in Jesus
My hope is in Jesus
The One who holds the world
Is holding on to me
I sing of His goodness
I stand on His promise
Now and forever
My hope is in Jesus
[Verse]
I won't put my hope
In all the riches of this world
'Cause all the riches of this world
Could never fill an empty soul
I won't put my hope
In any name but Jesus' name
He's the only one with power enough
To overcome the grave
[Chorus]
My hope is in Jesus
My hope is in Jesus
The One who holds the world
Is holding on to me
I sing of His goodness
I stand on His promise
Now and forever
My hope is in Jesus
[Bridge]
My Savior, Redeemer
My Father and Friend
Protector, Provider
His love never ends
My Healer, my Freedom
Forever, amen
[Chorus]
My hope is in Jesus
My hope is in Jesus
The One who holds the world
Is holding on to me
I sing of His goodness
I stand on His promise
Now and forever
My hope is in Jesus
[Outro]
When I'm finally home
In the presence of my King
This will be my anthem
For all eternity
My hope is in Jesus
My hope is in Jesus
The One who holds the world
Is holding on to me
I sing of His goodness
I stand on His promise
Now and forever
My hope is in Jesus
Now and forever
My hope is in Jesus
