About Travis Greene
Travis Greene is an American gospel musician, worship leader, and the founding senior pastor of The Forward City Church in Columbia, South Carolina, which he established with his wife, Dr. Jackie Greene. He was born on January 17, 1984, in Delaware and raised in Warner Robins, Georgia.
Greene began his music career with the release of his debut album, The More, in 2007. He followed that project with Stretching Out (2010) and the Intentional EP (2015). His 2015 album The Hill reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart. The following year, Billboard named him the Gospel Airplay Artist of the Year.
Greene has received significant recognition for his work. His single “Made a Way” won Top Gospel Song at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards. That same year, he took home seven awards at the Stellar Awards, including Song of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. He has also been nominated for multiple Grammy Awards and Stellar Awards.
His later releases include the live album Crossover: Live From Music City (2017) and Broken Record (2019).
