Lyrics
Verse 1
You chose the nails that pardoned my soul
Carried my cross claimed as Your own
I just want to thank You, I just want to thank You, Lord
Verse 2
You chose the thorns that lifted my shame
King on that cross, my ransom paid
I just want to thank You, I just want to thank You Lord
Pre Chorus
It is finished, it is done
Savior You have overcome
Let the cross be lifted up
To God be the praise
Chorus
We rise as You are risen
Jesus, You are the risen King, You are alive
In You we are forgiven
Jesus, You are the risen King, You are alive
Verse 3
You wore my chains so I could be free
Emptied Yourself, now i am complete
I just want to thank You, I just want to thank You, Lord
Bridge
Roll the stone away
See the empty grave
We lift our hands and sing
Hallelujah
