About River Valley Worship
River Valley Worship is a collective of worship pastors, songwriters, and musicians based at River Valley Church in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. Led by worship pastor and songwriter Ryan Williams, the group began releasing music in 2011. Their work is described as artful, congregational, and spirit-filled, created to serve the local church as well as the broader Christian community.
The collective signed with BEC Recordings and released their first project under the label in 2018. That same year they released the songs “Hope Has A Name” and “Million Lifetimes.” “Hope Has A Name” went on to reach the Christian Billboard Top 25. In 2020 they released “Altars,” and their catalog continued to grow with studio and live albums.
In 2022 River Valley Worship released the “Attention EP” and their seventh full-length record, “Faith In Our Time,” which was recorded live in downtown Minneapolis. More recent releases include the single “Nothing He Can’t Do” in 2024 and “First Light / Last Word” in 2025. Other notable songs in their catalog include “Edge of Heaven,” which first appeared in 2016.
