Lyrics
Spoken Intro
Lift your hands where you are.
And just say with me, "Jesus, you are enough."
Say, "Jesus, you are enough."
In the midst of challenges, you are enough.
In the midst of crisis, you are enough.
In the midst of lack and want, you are enough.
(Praying in tongues)
Just pray in the Holy Ghost if you can.

If only you see
Who's asking for water

That He is enough
Jacob's well is not enough
You are enough for me

Jesus is enough.
Jesus is enough.
You see that name Jesus?
You can take it to your doctor.
Doctors are not bad.
But sometimes they say what God is not saying about you...

Meaning & Inspiration
“Enough for Me” is a live worship recording that opens with a spoken invitation to lift hands and say that Jesus is enough in the middle of challenges, crisis, and lack. Its central image comes from the well: “Jacob’s well is not enough, you’re enough for me.” That recalls the Samaritan woman in John 4, where the one asking for water turns out to be the giver of water that satisfies.
The chorus keeps the confession simple. “Nothing else matters, nothing else counts” and “sweetness to my soul” present Christ as the singer’s whole portion rather than one good thing among many. A bridge led in call and response adds a note of invitation, with the cry to draw from “the well that will never run dry,” and the line “yesterday is gone, a new day has come.”
Much of the recording is spoken encouragement and prayer in tongues between sung sections, so it reads as a congregational moment as much as a song. The message throughout is sufficiency: whatever the need, the lyric points to Jesus as the answer.
