Peterson Okopi

Peterson Okopi (born Adikwu Peterson Okopi on August 8, 1997, in Lagos, Nigeria) is a Nigerian gospel recording artist and songwriter. He is of Benue State origin, specifically from Otukpo Local Government Area, and grew up in the Nigerian Air Force Base in Ikeja, Lagos. He began singing in his church choir at a young age and started ministering as a soloist by age seven. In 2015, he co-founded a gospel a cappella band called De’lighters.

Okopi studied Mass Communication at Yaba College of Technology and the National Open University of Nigeria. He is signed to TWC Records. His recorded catalog includes the album Osuba as well as the songs “Amazing God,” “Victory Dance,” “Baba,” “Up to Something,” “Iba,” and “My Worship.” He also released an album titled Yielded.

In 2021, Okopi was named Discovery Artist of the Year at the CLIMA Awards.
