Lyrics

[Intro Chorus]
There are kings
There are kingdoms
There are mountains
And there are thrones
Only Yeshua
Will reign forever
To His kingdom
There'll be no end

[Chorus]
There are kings
There are kingdoms
There are mountains
And there are thrones
Only Yeshua
Will reign forever
To His kingdom
There'll be no end

[Verse]
There are names
There are titles
There are legends
That tells us strength
But only Yeshua
Will reign forever
To His kingdom
There'll be no end

[Chorus]
There are chains
There are curses
But no evil
Can stand Your power
Only Yeshua
Will reign forever
To His kingdom
There'll be no end

[Bridge]
There are times
There are seasons
Every glory
Will fade away
But only Yeshua
Will reign forever
To His kingdom
There'll be no end

Meaning & Inspiration

“Only Yeshua” contrasts temporary forms of authority with the everlasting reign of Jesus. Kings, kingdoms, mountains, thrones, names, and titles may appear strong, but the chorus repeatedly places them beneath a kingdom that has no end. The use of Yeshua, the Hebrew form of Jesus’ name, keeps the confession centered on the person of Christ rather than on earthly status or reputation.

Later sections widen the contrast. Chains, curses, and evil cannot withstand his power, while time, changing eras, and human glory eventually pass away. The song’s repetition gives its central claim the character of a worship declaration: only Yeshua reigns forever. That claim closely echoes biblical visions of the Son receiving an everlasting dominion and the angelic promise that Christ’s kingdom will never end. Rather than dwelling on rival powers, the lyric consistently returns to the permanence, authority, and uniqueness of Jesus’ rule.
