Bryann T - Faith And Love Lyrics
Lyrics
Bryann, Spoken:
Yo, I encourage growth, me and my kingdom ones, you hear me? Check it out.
Intro, All:
Hey faith. And love. I said faith. And love. Hey faith. And love. Hey faith. And love. Tell them.
Chorus, All:
F-A-I-T. Don’t forget the “H” please. L-O-V-E. I know Jesus loves me.
F-A-I-T. Don’t forget the “H” please. L-O-V-E. I know Jesus loves me.
Bryann:
Yo. You paid for this. I prayed for this
You compromise your ways these days. You won’t stay with this
Don’t fake the funk don’t come around if you weren’t made for this
Come pick up the cross and walk obedient with faithfulness
How can you say you free if you don’t know what freedom means?
You can’t promote the Kingdom though if you don’t know the King
Only inheritance for the arrogant is embarrassment
It’s embarrassing, most American’s won’t act like good Samaritans
Don’t mean to question you but some things I just have to say
Your thoughts are not my thoughts plus I don’t understand your ways
Why am I always in these tidal waves and strongest winds?
He brought me to the waterway He knew my haters couldn’t swim
Hey sin will sink you to the bottom of the ocean floor
Sin will keep you thinking, “Now there ain’t no hope no more”
But God will lift you up and save you from your greatest pain
Like, “Yes I will deliver him ‘cuz he acknowledges my name.”
Rainy nights when I was staring out of my window
Forgive me Lord for the times in life I was sinful
Fill me up Lord, this body now is Your temple
Fill me with Your faith and love
Rainy nights when I was staring out of my window
Forgive me Lord for all of the times in life I was sinful
Fill me up Lord, this body now is Your temple
Fill me with Your faith and love
Bryann:
I pray this life I live compels you to want more of Him
If you pursue His Holiness you’d find out what’s important then
Do you know that fasting turns (?) the value of His voice? Oh.
I’m only asking so you can make the right choice, bruh
Faith and love go together like Woo and Twin do
That’s why I intend to continue, yeah God forgives you
To a thousand generations, Lord, You always keep Your covenant
You tossed my sin into the depth and You don’t think about none of it
There is no God but You. None can do what You can
All of us deserve judgment but still you’ve made me a new man
Yes I’m a follower of Jesus and I’m proud of that
Trust believe I do receive this faithful love I found. At last.
Chorus, All:
F-A-I-T. Don’t forget the “H” please. L-O-V-E. I know Jesus loves me.
F-A-I-T. Don’t forget the “H” please. L-O-V-E. I know Jesus loves me.
Rainy nights when I was staring out of my window
Forgive me Lord for the times in life I was sinful

Rainy nights when I was staring out of my window

Outro, All
Hey faith. And love. I said faith. And love. Hey faith. And love. Hey faith. And love.

Meaning & Inspiration
When you’ve spent enough time in the dirt, you stop looking for songs that promise a sunny beach. I’m tired of the noise that tells me my mess is just a "glitch." It ain't. It’s a shipwreck. And Bryann T gets it. He doesn't act like he’s preaching from some ivory tower; he sounds like a man who knows exactly what it feels like to have the salt of the ocean burning in his eyes.
There’s this line he spits: "Sin will sink you to the bottom of the ocean floor / Sin will keep you thinking, 'Now there ain’t no hope no more.'"
I’ve been there. I’ve sat in that dark, cold place where the pressure feels like it’s going to crush your ribs, and the silence from heaven is the loudest thing in the room. You convince yourself that the current has pulled you too far out, that the rescue boat isn't coming for someone like you. It’s a lie, but it’s a heavy one. When you’re at the bottom, looking up at a surface you can't reach, you don't need a lecture on how to swim. You need someone to tell you that God isn't scared of your wreckage.
Bryann follows that up with a raw truth: "But God will lift you up and save you from your greatest pain / Like, 'Yes I will deliver him ‘cuz he acknowledges my name.'"
It reminds me of the Psalm where the writer says He reached down from on high and took hold of him, drew him out of deep waters. It’s not about how hard I paddled; it’s about the fact that He actually reached for me. Even when I smell like the fire I just walked out of, He doesn't recoil.
I’m still trying to figure out how to carry the weight of being "a new man" when I still remember exactly what the old one tasted like. Some days, the guilt sits on me like a wet wool coat. But then I hear stuff like this—unapologetic, no-frills, straight-to-the-gut delivery—and it forces me to look at the cross again. Not as a symbol, but as the only reason I’m not still sinking.
He talks about God tossing sin into the depth and not thinking about it anymore. That’s the hardest part for me to swallow. I keep digging my past back up, trying to inspect the damage, while He’s already moved on, looking at me like I’m brand new.
I’m still standing here with the smoke still on my clothes, trying to get used to the light. It feels wrong, almost, to be clean. But I’ll take it. I’ll take the faith and the love, because heaven knows I couldn't manufacture either one on my own.
