About Hulvey
Christopher Michael Hulvey, known professionally as Hulvey, is a Christian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born on January 13, 1999, in Brunswick, Georgia. Before his music career took off, he dropped out of college to pursue his passion and worked at a supermarket. In 2019, he signed with Reach Records, a prominent Christian hip-hop label.
Hulvey’s debut album, Christopher, was released in 2021 and debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard Top Christian/Gospel Albums chart. His sophomore studio album, CRY, followed in 2024. He has also released several EPs, including Prelude, BRKNHRT, COMA, and He Will Return, as well as singles such as “Beautiful” and “Altar.” The single “Altar” received an RIAA Gold certification. Hulvey has collaborated with artists including Lecrae, Forrest Frank, and Ciara.
At the 55th GMA Dove Awards in 2024, Hulvey won Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year for “Love Like That.” The following year, at the 56th GMA Dove Awards, his album CRY won Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year. These recognitions highlight his growing impact within Christian music.
