Lugar Santo is a Portuguese-language song of longing for heaven. The singer says they would like to be taken to the high heavens to see the glory prepared for the saints, walk the streets of gold and meet brothers and sisters who overcame persecution out of love, then join the heavenly choir worshiping the Lamb of God and singing that the Lord is holy.
The song continues that despite suffering and struggles nothing will prevent reaching heaven, where the singer wants to see the face of the Lord Jesus, the King of kings, knowing there will be no more weeping because God wipes away every tear, and receiving the crown and reward from His hands.
