About Gateway Worship
Gateway Worship is an American Christian worship band and ministry based in Southlake, Texas. The collective serves as the worship ministry for Gateway Church, which was founded in 2000, and has been active since 2003. Composed of a rotating team of worship pastors, musicians, and songwriters, the group creates contemporary worship music that is frequently recorded live during church services. Thomas Miller served as the original senior worship pastor until 2018, and Mark Harris, formerly of the group 4Him, succeeded him as a leader of the worship team.
The ministry releases music through labels including Gateway Music, Fair Trade Services, and Integrity Music. Their catalog includes songs widely used in congregational worship, such as “Revelation Song,” “The More I Seek You,” “O The Blood,” “Always,” and “Who Else.” Their 2008 album Wake Up the World reached No. 2 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. The 2015 live album Walls went to No. 1 on the same chart, and the 2017 release Monuments further expanded their recorded work.
In addition to their English-language projects, Gateway Worship Español received a nomination at the 53rd GMA Dove Awards. Through their music and ministry, the collective continues to serve their local congregation while contributing to the broader contemporary worship landscape.
