Lyrics
When I come into Your presence
I can feel your anointing
Like an overflowing fountain, mmm
The flow of your power
Saturates my spirit
And breakthrough overflows my soul
Lord I worship You for Your righteousness
Lord I honor you for your holiness
Lord I entered in beyond the veil
To worship you and to commune with you
I need a worship experience
A connection with your Spirit
Empowered by Your presence, yes
Solo: Lord I worship You for Your righteousness
Lord I honor you for your holiness
Lord I entered in beyond the veil
To worship you and to commune with you
I need a worship experience
A connection with your Spirit
Empowered by Your presence, yes
Endow me with Your presence
Cover me Lord

Meaning & Inspiration
Worship Experience centers on longing for a conscious encounter with God. The singer describes entering divine presence, sensing anointing like an overflowing fountain, and finding both spirit and soul saturated by God’s power. Righteousness and holiness become reasons for worship rather than abstract ideas, while the language of going beyond the veil presents communion with God as the song’s central desire.
The repeated request for a worship experience is defined as connection with the Spirit and empowerment by God’s presence. Its imagery may recall Hebrews 10:19-22, where access to the holy place is opened through Jesus, and John 7:38-39, where living water is associated with the Spirit. The closing pleas to be endowed and covered keep the emphasis on dependence rather than performance. Across its brief sections, the song portrays worship as reverence, nearness, and spiritual renewal, with breakthrough flowing from God’s presence rather than human effort.
